Emptied, the monumental space of the Abbatiale of Bellelay calls upon the present, while reminding us of what inhabited this particular place: wild boars, prayers, three fires, horses, glass-making and beer. But what remains of this now? Once a monastery, then a brewery, a warehouse, a barn, the current exhibition and concert venue holds within its walls many territories, which the performance activates. A 10m2 surface of paper functions as a double: indeterminate, changing, it is a volume, a surface, a body, a partner, a space. Folding and unfolding, other presences and places appear while others disappear.
